Walter S. Biscoe was a librarian at the New York State Library. This collection includes notes, clippings, and essays relating to the early history of printing. The collection includes records of New York State Library accessions, genealogical notebooks on the Briscoe-Biscoe family, letters to A. Growall from George P. Philes concerning 18th and 19th century books and printing, several biographical sketches of early printers, and several prints, illustrations, and broadsides.
